The problem I see if there's going to be an article or two where you see people trashing them. I remember a Dragon article from one of the conferences where the comment section accused Ouya of taking advantage of the situation by funding them to do the game. It's a hard line to walk. But if people here have an audience then they can post positive and maybe their network can help make that go viral.
If you look at all the media the family have put forward, it's clear they WANT to do this. Ignorance will always be prevalent among keyboard warriors, it's a sad fact. We who know what is actually going on just need to spread the word I guess.
As I said previously, I'd love to showcase the game over on twitch.tv and then cut it up for youtube, however having lost several very important people to cancer I'm almost scared of showing my reaction to the public.
But then if anything proves that gaming is a true medium, in that it can evoke real emotion, surely that does?
