You should buy a hoodie they look great. I have bought a fair few games now and I'll be buying more when I get paid too.
I have to admit I should have backed some Ouya games but just haven't set it up yet to do it.

I think Ouya missed a trick not backing Racewerks to be honest, and I'm baffled it didn't even make a 1000, its just what the Ouya needs too.

I've bought so many games I can't list them on my sig now lol.

Well if we did raise money as a group to donate on Kickstarter it should be for a project that is close to making the goal but wouldn't without our help. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to back a project that easily makes it when good projects sometimes falls short

yeah I think that's a good plan, as baffling as it is I just don't get how that game wasn't backed more, I doubt in the last 60 hours its going to raise that much I've asked them if there Is a possibility of it coming to Ouya still.

I have to echo Killswitch's and Fireball's focus around Kickstarter.

We, the community, want better games for the OUYA, so we need to raise up a few, well polished devs support them throughout the entire game making process, and fund them via kickstarter. We the Community need to become the Game Studio.

Thats how we take control of OUYA's fate.

I mention it emails to devs. I usually ask for Moga support and tack ouya on at the end as a "PS". The latest dev I asked wasn't sure about Ouya and has to make it Nokia compatible and after that is watching how Amazon's and maybe Google's consoles play out before looking at Ouya.

Personally, I think it's lost mind share?

This way of thinking is part of the problem. If people keep "waiting" then what happens during that time they wait. I was always the type to jump right in so I don't really understand waiting something out. What if you miss out on that opportunity because of waiting...

Who knows when this AndroidTV will be out and it's basically Google Play in a box like Fire is Amazon in a box.

There is so much OUYA vaporware out there & I may be wrong here but I seem to recall a good portion of it originating on kickstarter.
sorry, but if it isn't an OUYA exclusive i think it's a poor choice of dispersing funds on kickstarter because once someone builds the uber polygon pushing masterpiece on unity they don't want to waste their time toning it down so it'll run on less powerful systems like android.

Here's the thing about "mentioning" or emailing. And this is going to be a little harsh.

With the orchestrated twitter-a-thon and email pestering that goes on here, some developers have grown to mistrust what the true intentions are, especially coming from this community. Are you looking to protect your investment? Are you a "me too" without any real desire to buy their product? If a dev decides to trust these campaigns at face value, deploys to the platform, and sees nothing from it, they feel foolish and that they wasted a lot of time and effort. It's highly damaging, and just as word of mouth spreads from consumer to consumer, it also spreads in the world of the content providers who have the burden of the up front investment..

You know what's more convincing to a dev? Putting your money where your mouth is. Fireballs's suggestion does exactly that.
