This is actually a thing that others also noted, and I thought nobody would

It's not a bug! it's actually that the visual health-meter is a "rounding" of your health. In simple words: monsters and hearths take or give you like 88% of a visual-heart.. so at some times the visual number doesn't change, but the damage/increase is done

Interesting, what made you decide to do that? I find it a bit confusing as I am not too sure when I'm getting hit or when I am healing. It seems to me the character takes less damage when they are shooting at an enemy than when she is not shooting or her back is turned, is this correct? I love the frantic nature of Orangepixel games but it can make the gameplay mechanics a bit confusing when everything is so fast and seemingly random.

Despite this odd aspect of the game I absolutely love it and am surprised it's not as popular as Heroes of Loot. Both games seem very simple at first but have a hidden depth to them that you only pick up on after playing it over and over again. I've gotten my score up to 900-something; I get weary of playing the game sometimes because it's so intense and I get dead serious about it but I really love it.

Random question: Heroes of Loot got quite a few updates and is a much more complete game than it was when it was originally released, will Groundskeeper 2 be getting similar treatment? In all honesty, I find Groundskeeper 2 to be much more of a "finished product" than Heroes of Loot was when originally released and I don't think updates are necessary but I would be interested if there are any plans for it.

Super fun game; if you haven't tried it yet give it a whirl, if you tried it and passed give it a few goes and it may grow on you!
