    SpaceCat HD - Platty Soft

This thread is for the discussion of SpaceCat HD. (note to developer - send me a private message if you would like to edit this thread)

“Love space? Love cats? Then you’ll probably like SpaceCats. Witty touches and great attention to detail make this more than a one-play gimmick too. (8.2/10)” - Life of Android

“You really should download this. The graphics are very good, the game play is both fun yet challenging as you progress and the game is all-round well polished and cool to play (4.6/5)” - AndroidTapp

SpaceCat has an innovative gameplay that combines a lander with a platform game with high quality graphics.

Dodge walls, avoid lasers, pilot through narrow passages, catch the floating mice and more. And you can share your achievements with Google Play Games.

    Very cute!

Switching from Arcade (easy) mode to the more realistic mode made this game a whole lot more fun.

This works as well as the HD version for Android (which works fine, sideloaded). If you download the Ouya version, it will replace the Android version and all progress will be lost.

However, the game is great and it's easy to recover the progress.

My advice is to do the training missions and then use the in-game credits to buy the best UFO (the all encompassing red thingy). I'm really happy this game came out. I found this via the Tegra Zone and then asked the Dev that took over from the original one to port it over to Ouya (I can't say that it was me that started the ball rolling, though).

Thanks for bringing this Portal-esque feline game to us!

My niece just adores this game. Simple mechanics but challenging level designs. Well done.
