[Updated] Announcement Concerning Recent Topics.

Hello,
This following message could be considered many things including as an announcement, or warning to those that interpret it. With the Free-To-Try model not being mandatory and the on-going reaction being that of people being displeased to the point of planning to rebel against the system via this forum. I'm here informing you that there will be no insurgency type behavior going on here at OUYAForum once those developers start appearing. We've encountered trouble in the past when members started posting continuous destructive criticism towards various developers along with generally being disrespectful and we're certainly not going to allow it in the present via some sort of self-righteous mission to do what you think is right.
Furthermore, there's no reason why someone has to come to this forum and be disenfranchised because of how they released their project on Discover. Everybody here is a member in one way or another and falls under the same rules with no exceptions so the rule of thumb here is to treat everybody equally with respect. This forum is very unique because it opens a two-way tunnel for a lot of consumers and developers to openly communicate with each other in a way that's not normally found in other communities. OUYA still doesn't have a mass audience yet and this forum is sort of like a safe-haven for developers and consumers of all kinds to come congregate to help with the issue so don't contribute to the opposite.
Continuing on, that's not to say that you should be what's normally called a "fanboy/fangirl" either. Giving developers proper constructive criticism such as explaining why you think what they particularly did with something isn't the best way and all those other things is encouraged. There's also the common knowledge that this is still the internet we're all communicating on and developers must take into consideration that they won't always come across waves of undying praise when they post their projects on here so they must be open to constructive criticism. All the developers will have to learn to utilize a sort of "thick-skin" because of this fact and must make note that everybody is different and in turn will not always agree on everything.
Lastly, this move is not a popular one and despite that OUYA Incorporate is trying it's hardest to still appease the two parties involved which is consumers and developers. There's your part to play in all of this too which is to try as well and if you can't bring yourself to say something nice when a developer without a demo comes in and post then follow this age old rule: If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all. One final thing I want to address is another controversial move to some and that's the OUYA Everywhere initiative. We're most likely going to make some alterations to the forum to accommodate these new members from other platforms and we expect everybody to treat them as they were our own kind.
