That is certainly a big giant LED on there!
I'm considering bumping up the brightness factor on mine as well, but I'd like mine to fit back into the case afterward.

I haven't opened up my black Ouya yet, but they did really well with the bush button lighting on that one, very bright and distinct.

I just have my motherboard sitting on the table, similar to the pictures. The case interferes with my wi-fi. I did this for fun, I'll probably cut off the LED and leave the OUYA LEDless. The light is annoying when it's directly exposed and nothing is covering it. I enjoy gaming more in the dark, with only the TV showing lights.
