Thread: Animal Battle

    Animal Battle

    the official thread is here.

    Hi,
I'm working on Animal Battle a great puzzle fighting game for OUYA. You can play solo or bring a friend for some great 2 players vs mode.

Who’s going to be the king of the jungle? Fight your way to victory in this addictive puzzle fighting game. Pick up your preferred animal and start firing colored blocks at a ceiling of more blocks. When a stared block hit another block of the same color, they’ll all blown-up. Sound easy? Think again. To score big in Animal Battle, you need to carefully orchestrate chain reaction, which in turn will unlock penalizing blocks unceremoniously dump on your opponent. Be aware that the computer is well equipped to do the same to you and will create massive chain reaction at the most inopportune moment for you.
In solo mode, Animal Battle is an awesome game, but link up against a friend in 2 players versus mode and it becomes a true master piece. This is probably one of the best 2 players game that will ever grace your device.
The game’s music is another high point. The tribal, catchy tunes (by Made In Frantz) never become tiresome, even during long matches.
Dollar-to-hour, this has to be one of your best investments.
    • Mind-blowing, seriously addictive gameplay.
    • Enjoy heated matches with friends.
    • Or play versus the computer.
    • 20 fun characters to choose from.
    • Three difficulty levels.

Interesting concept. Kind of like a more frantic Dr. Mario flipped on it's head! I can see that there will be some fun strategy involved with the swap pieces you have there. Looking forward to giving this a spin.

I second that, please make a free to try element. Let's keep free to try alive.

Thanks guys. I though it was mandatory to have free to try on OUYA, was I wrong?
The full version is ready, I was waiting to have time to work on the free to try before releasing it on OUYA (as I'll need to include specific OUYA libs for the IAP). Is it allow to have 2 versions? Demo and full? and the demo will just 'stop working' after a limited time for example?
I'm still working on other platforms and my time is limited, so if I can avoid unnecessary work on the OUYA version, that would be great.

OUYA has stated that they are going to move away from requiring a demo. There is more information, and plenty more opinions, here: http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?...ed-Free-to-Try

I would suggest contacting the OUYA developer representative and asking when it goes into effect as that could save you some work, like you said. Personally, I hope you do include a demo. If you do get an answer from them, please let us know, and good luck on releasing your game!
