Thread: iStream on XBMC

I've been using with Gotham, works good.

Good to know! What version of Gotham do you have installed? I'm using 20140315 and it said dependencies not met for the iStream add-on. I didn't try using the amber skin though...

I'm about to tinker around with this tonight. I really want to seamlessly take the shows that I typically DVR with cable and just stream them in HD in one app. The movies on XBMC is an added value, but i just really want to kill my cable cord. Are there any tips setting up istream on the Ouya for an HD heavy setting? I have all the repos (Fusion, super and X Unity).

If you have the super repository you shouldn't need the other ones. For an all in one app I'd either use GOtv starts fast, only has 1 link so no trying to pick a correct source. And its updated half hourly with the server side scrapers.

I finally got it set up and it was pretty tough to grasp. Adding sources and indexes for the istream was confusing but the link posted above helped. More tinkering and videos will help clarify. I haven't tried the GOtv yet but I will look it up for sure, thanks dude.
