Retaliation Path of War - XTeam Software Solution

This thread is for the discussion of Retaliation Path of War. (note to developer - send me a private message if you would like to edit this thread)

Retaliation: Path of War is a new and original hex-and-counter turn based wargame. It has been designed and developed with the main purpose of offering a fun and easy to learn wargame, without the complexity and hyper realism of traditional simulation wargames while at the same time keeping all the interesting and challenging elements of tactical reasoning.

Have you enjoyed playing many matches of Risk™ with your friends but often felt limited by its simplicity and yearned for something more? Have you been engaged in realistic battle simulations lasting several hours (or days!) and wished you could just get to the point and vanquish your enemies?
Then you've come to the right place: whether you are a seasoned strategist or a casual gamer, you will love crushing tanks and conquering bases in Retaliation!

Played a craptonne of this game. Not without bugs and a few niggly issues such as overly sensitive cursor and a some poor user feedback when it comes to moving /attacking. But you kinda get used to it.

To apprieciate the game though. You do have to stick with it and get deeper into the mission tree. As far as Hex games go, this is no Panzer Generals / Panzer Corps (which I play religiously). But with a considerable amount of work. It can reach promising level.

Treat it as an Alpha. Best way to look at it really.

Awesome! Normally I am not one for these hex strategy games (weewar, etc), but this look quite engaging to play.

Hi there, glad to see we're seeing more turn based strategy games Ouya. This and Acorn Assault give me hope. Any chance for online matches in the future?

We are already developing the multiplayer version ( "Retaliation Enemy Mine" ) with more complex rules, more units, more terrains, maps generated with "terraforming"

sincerely, from the few feedback, I do not think that will be developed for Ouya
