I can't get passed the way they chose to spell it. I can't imagine the game being much better.
I really liked the look of the trailer but didn't find the game that great, also only one go per day means I can't play it enough to decide. I think it could be good with mates though.

Pardon me, but I find that quite pretentious. You do realize that the spelling of the English language was only becoming fully standardized by the mid 18th century? The game is clearly set in an alternate universe in which the popularity of medieval chivalry has survived into the late 25th in which case it is entirely possible that spellings could be totally different or in fact never have became standardized.
I guess I bought it straight after the first try, you have a lot of lives so I thought that'd give people time to decide. For me the swerve mechanic made a big difference and it took me half of the first game to work out how to fully utilize it. It lets you pull off some really fun maneuvers and from that moment I used it pretty much constantly.
I never knew they had a swerve button until i didnt have any free goes left. I will try it again and see how it goes.

I can, given a shove, imagine the game is not for everyone but it really does make a big difference. Without it you move in these huge arcs and can't turn quickly making the game feel very sluggish. Like I said, I didn't notice it myself at first and at that point I admit I wasn't too impressed myself. I guess that's one thing the developers should work on, if you're only going to get one free go a day then it's probably a REALLY good idea for people to know before hand what the controls do.
Looks interesting like a couple other games I've said this to. Just in case... How to you swerve? I don't want to have that poor demo execution over in a flash.

It's the A button.
Just as a general point for anyone interested in the game but still shaky on whether to actually invest, the first couple of enemies won't attack you so if you avoid murdering them you can have all the time you want to accustom yourself with the controls.
Ok.
