Thread: Isomeva - caou

    Isomeva - caou

This is a turn based, online, strategy game.
You setup a team to challenge other player's teams in "catch the flag" arena battles.
Creatures skills and stats can be upgraded by collecting enough falling stars from the arenas.
You take turns asynchronously: no need to wait for the opponent to complete his turn, plus you can be engaged in several battles at once.

Obviously, the ultimate goal is to be on top of the leaderboards

Well, so far cant play anything it just stays there, its not even searching for games, just there, i've already cleared the tutorial D:!
And also, why does it sort the players by their email? Wouldnt it be better by their usernames?

From the main screen, have you started a new battle ( Get into a new Battle ) ?

Or does it says "Your turn" ?
In that case you have to finish your turn so your opponent can make his moves...

I'd blame your wifi connexion for that...
Will add an error message on the next update.

i really think the controls need a second look. i had no idea you had to press the "U" menu button to end the turn. this isn't stated at all in the tutorial. also, using the right analog stick feels unnatural.

    my suggestion:
    d-pad to move the cursor
R1 to change between move/push (with a color prompt on screen to let you know -- graphic/cursor/etc)
"O" to confirm your decision (character moves or pushes)
"A" to end your turn/close a window/exit an option, etc.

Great game! The controls are a bit confusing though. The game is very polished and fun, I'll be trying to get on the leaderboards.

    Hey Tricksterwolf,
I looked after your issue with the connexion and fixed it. It was a mistake I made in the database structure.
Unfortunately, I had to delete all the battles data.
Fortunately the beat just came out so not many players had engaged in battles yet.

Thank you for pointing out the issue

Finished the tutorial and got matched up with another player? but they never finished their move, even after waiting 15 mins. Other than that I really liked the style and feel of the game and have a few questions about the future of Isomeva.

Will the blocks make amusing noises and narrate their circumstances in worm-like fashion? Will I be able to name my blocks in the team edit? Also practically, could we see the other player's cursor so that we know they're really there?

    Thank you.
