I'm glad to see them back in NYC. It felt like a homecoming episode. I feel that now we can get back to the main focus of the TMNT series without all the distractions of the last 8 episodes (which were good, but just felt out of place after about the 3rd episode.)

Did anyone catch the changes in the intro? There was one particular split-second glimpse that make me grin from ear to ear.

My friend had bought up to like season 8 of the old original cartoon. He dubbed up to season 7 for me, didn't get 8 from him yet.
I think he has 9 too. Other then the turtles from the 80's and the early-mid 90's I didn't really catch any of the other series that have came out.

All three TMNT cartoons have their strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn't skip any of them. The current show definitely does a good job blending the ideas of the '80s toon with the darker tone of the Mirage comics and the high-energy fun of the 2007 animated movie.

I think the 80s cartoon is actually the weakest of the three, but it still has a lot of charm and moments of real greatness. The "season 1" miniseries is still amazing, minus the animation errors.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

About 60 seconds before it happpened... the light went off and I saw it coming. I don't know why I didn't put it together before!?!?!

Can't wait for the next episode. The turtles being back in NYC has really helped this season make up some lost ground in terms of likeability.

True... they were going in some weird direction that might even chase people away if it stayed that way.

Why do all these episodes that feature fights between the turtles and Shredder end up being so good? Not only that, but seems anytime there is a 'three-way' battle going on, it just gets even better. LOL
