Hi, this is a mini-game I made so the kids would practice their guitar more (and also to get to grips with Unity/OUYA), and it seems to work! Basically an asteroid is heading for your ship and you have to play the guitar chord before it reaches you. Things speed up depending on how well you play of course.
Now yes, you use a real guitar (game will play sound for you so you can compare/hear how well you played it)..but no, it does not 'listen' or judge/assess your chord. You place your controller on the floor and tap any button with your toe as you strum the chord. A bit of an honesty system but works well enough.
There are some other triple A type games out there on other systems but I found them frustrating in terms of note/chord detection.
6 basic chords free with plenty more unlocked for a single buck if it works for you.
Few improvements I can see in the future, more chords, USB microphone for auto-detection of chords, and a Galaga/Space Invader type song mode. If there is enough interest.
