Hi! I tried your game and I have one suggestion:
If each player only uses one button, why don't you let the 4 of them play in just one controller?

I mean: 1 player, 1 button. But, if you have more than one controller, you can split the players in those controllers.

Check PiX Frogger for an example of that.

    Thanks for the feedback!

At this point I'm working on a toggle that is on the player select screen that would remap players 1 & 2 to the first controller and p3 & 4 to the second.

What button do you guys think the secondary player on a controller should use? I think another of the OUYA buttons is too close, that's just me, but maybe DPad cuz it's on the other side of the controller?

I would probably use the two trigger buttons to jump if you're gonna have them both on 1 controller. Also could you make it so we can use any kind of input? I.e. mouse/usb controller/xbox/ps3/wiimote/keyboard?

    Do it magically.

Scan for all possible buttons on all controllers, then add a screen with a "flap to join in".. Add as many players as you register taps, assign button codes as you go.
Have a predetermined "start" button on controller one.

    Good to go.

That way, some techy people out there might like to build a giant arcade-like button-based mega console, attach a massive screen, and invite folk to play uber-games!!!

I like both Multi Birds and PiX Frogger concepts. Please add as many players per controller as you can. We are currently coming out with a controller that separates the buttons so you can conceivably have 8 players using a single controller because of our custom button separation. I hope to demo this soon with at least Multi Birds and PiX Frogger. The more players you develop per controller, the better for us, as it simplifies our wireless/USB controller interface. We are developing custom controllers for the OUYA and love games like these. Keep up the good work!
