I only played one round so far since there are only 5, I want to make sure I have the time to really check it out. So far I am loving it! Merging would help in a tutorial. I ready the walls of txt but didn't get everything at first. It learned basically by watching how I was getting stomped that first game lol. I think I got it now but will have to see if I can put up a better fight today after work.

Thanks for the great game! And yes local and online multiplayer are almost needed for this game lol

Alright, I have talked to the team and I have a few things to announce!

Online multiplayer is coming and we feel we can get that working for you guys relatively soon. Mmartino, we at least have local multiplayer so be sure to use at least one of your free plays with a friend if you have an extra controller. We have the most fun playing the game against each other and it can get pretty intense!

Second, a story is in the works and will be available at no extra cost. More on that later.

And lastly, as a thank you for all of you who purchase the game before we start rolling out these updates, you will get an exclusive in-game bonus! What this will be is still in the works, so any suggestions made will be considered!

Thank you all for your feedback. We really want to improve on this game and make it the best it can be. Keep giving us feedback and we will keep making it better!

I haven't tried it again, yet, but were you guys (or are you guys) able to implement a PS3 controller fix yet?

Played this one using one of my free plays. I really enjoyed the game, and haven't played enough to really critique. Unfortunately, we were unable to finish our match, as it took longer than expected and I had some things to attend to. I didn't really llike the fact that acorns could be spent on fixing the fort. Seemed like the game could go on forever that way. I really need to play more though before forming an opinion. Kind of reminded me of the board game Stratego for some reason. Look forward to playing more!

Ok I've now used 4 of my 5 plays and damn it's hard! Seems like cards are always in the cpu's favour, even with two bomb squirrels I still failed lol. Maybe some easier enemies.

I did notice last night the CPU does seem to be cheating lol. I swear each time I got 2 squirrels they got 4. Just seemed kinda unbalanced but still had a lot of fun playing lol.

Nadious - The fix is coming, but unfortunately it's not fixed yet. I will post on this forum to let you know when it goes live.

Depo78 - While healing bases can prolong the game, you are limited by the number of acorns you can earn which is only by merging your pieces. If you can place your pieces in a way that ruins their larger merges, your opponent wont have enough acorns to heal their base. That, or focus on making larger offensive pieces and spending your acorns on extra damage and if done right you can overpower them.

Rosse119 - We will introduce easier AIs soon. We are thinking of exposing it as on option when playing the computer. When we release the single player campaign, the difficulty will start easy and ramp up as you progress. But I can at least assure you that the code that draws the cards does not favor the computer. The only time it will favor a side is when one side's health is really low and the other is very high. In that case, the losing side will have a higher chance of getting a better draw but not by much.

    Pretty cool tactics game.
I lost the first game because I had no idea what I was doing.
Won the second and lost the third.

    I like the cute graphics.
I don't care about enviroments but I‘d like to see more different playfield grids.
    That would add variety.

Except having different sized grids you could also vary the num of cards (smaller field, less cards) or just put some obstacles in the grid so that a player can't use that space...

Sound effects could be better, I especially dislike the sound that plays when you buy an upgrade. Sounded like my guys got hurt.

Aha I thought so... Bought this game after beating the CPU on last free try. Played it all night with my girlfriend. Very cool, looking forward to added features! One question : does merging three bomber squirrels make anything? I Haven't tried yet...

I made note of the sound effects. We are looking into also changing the game board size, number of cards, obstacles along with some other things to add variance to the game. Single player will likely be a mix of environmental changes along with changes to the play field. And thanks Anatomality! Every purchase is much appreciated. And yes, three bombers make the highest level squirrel, the general. Kudos to you for pulling it off if you can. It can be pretty difficult to do!
