Platdude in A Bit of A Do - Jayenkai

It's the year of Platdude, and this is February, so this is the second of his games!!
Whether or not I'll successfully manage to create 12 games with him in, remains to be seen, but I'm still going to give it a try!!

In this month's game, I've opted to do a remake (of sorts) of the classic Mr Do!
Basic rules are, there are fruit lying in the garden to collect, and enemy creatures coming after you. Gather up all the fruit then head to the house.
Along the way, you can collect and throw the blue-sphere in a bid to kill the bats that are chasing you.

Note : The control scheme underwent a complete overhaul midway through development, and although it is a more natural feeling control scheme, the way it is now, it's not quite retro enough for my liking.. At a future point, I might revisit this game and take it back to an older gridded control scheme, but then that feels weird when played with the analogue stick!! If and when I do rejig it, I'll let you know.
It's still perfectly playable as it is, right now, it's just that I know it could be better, and that's annoying me!!!!
