I should probably add that the thumb/pen drives are all formatted as FAT32 & the hard drives are all formatted as NTFS.

If this is a USB powered drive is it possible that it doesn't obey the USB powering specifications? Maybe it's drawing more power than the OUYA provide? Are their any indicator lights on the drive?...

This affects nothing regarding whether the OUYA will read a USB drive or not.

Remove it from power completely for about 30 seconds.

Same here but it was a 250GB Western Digital HD in a NexStar case. Way to break my OUYA setup Boxer8.

I can finally track my OUYA (w/ 2nd controller) via DHL's website. It left the shipping facility in Georgia about a hour and a half ago. Hopefully that means I will be getting it tomorrow afternoon...
