No time estimate on 3.0 (still don't even know exactly what all it will encompass, so obviously can't estimate how long it will take until out of the brainstorming phase). And nothing new to report...

No time estimate on 3.0 (still don't even know exactly what all it will encompass, so obviously can't estimate how long it will take until out of the brainstorming phase). And nothing new to report...
@Spencer, audio latency is something we are aware of. Strangely enough, it doesn't affect every OUYA (mine is not affected, for example), and those it does affect experience the problem to different...
Game saves do not typically have the extension .n64 (that is a ROM extension). But to answer your question, yes it is possible. You need to have the exact same version of the game (most games have...
It's not possible now, but that's planned for 3.0.
Save- and load- state appear to be working fine in interpreter modes now, so that is good news for DK64 fans.
The browser used to function quite well with the controller, but when they went live they did an update which hid it, changed the icon, and made it nearly impossible to access the address bar...
I should point out that I am using an unzipped US version. It is possible that you have a European or other version, which I haven't tested (worth checking). Also make sure your file isn't corrupt....
For Conkers BFD, use dynarec for the R4300 emulator, gles2rice for the video plugin, and enable auto frameskip in the video settings.
Never mind, I take that back! Blast Corps works in Cached Interpreter mode with gles2glide64 video plugin and frameskip set to "Never". Unfortunately, this is probably the slowest possible settings...
Looks like any fixes to Blast Corps in the core Mupen64Plus v2.0 update must have been limited to the x86 dynarec. Still does not function on the ARM dynarec or in either Interpreter mode.
Sensitivity option is in 2.3.2 (will be getting to OUYA soon, still under review)
Wow, I missed that line in the 2.0 changelog. As of AE version 2.3.2 (still under review by team OUYA) we are completely updated to the 2.0 core (we stay synchronized with upstream, so we've...
Gotchya. For some reason I thought you meant file-sharing in both directions, not just reading via SMB. Maybe something to consider for the 3.0 series.
From the code side, something like this should work: (ICS and later, which isn't a problem since this is specifically for the OUYA)
Uri uri = Uri.parse( "package:paulscode.android.mupen64plusae"...
In the emulator? No, that seems more like a job for a file manager.
Littleguy, one of the main devs on the team, published a really handy app called FilePwn. It is a simple-to-use file manager well designed for use with the OUYA controller. I just wanted to mention...
Most users prefer the buttons where we mapped them to by default on the OUYA controller (with the possible exception of the Start and Menu buttons, which maybe could be moved to the stick buttons). ...
No, I mean much later than the N64 logo.. like after you have started a game in PJ64 do a save-state. Then move the file to your phone. Then start the game and load the state before the game...
@stevep, IIRC, US versions of Blast Corps work in Project 64. I don't have a save state at the moment though (I'll look into creating one when I have some free time)
Use gles2glide64 for this one (much better with the new frameskip option that will be in the next update, but still laggy in places)
You can either use gles2rice with Auto Frameskip enabled...
@Ender Wiggin Ksc, start is mapped to Y by default. You can remap the buttons however you like in the input settings, though.
@MeltingSand, this is a known issue with gles2rice for a lot of games (which is why the setting is disabled by default). The only workaround is to disable Auto Frameskip when navigating menus, and...
The vast majority of USB-based Windows-compatible controllers built in the last 10 years are fully supported. The Retrolink seems to be a problem, but only sometimes (for example, see this post...
@Mountaindewbass, about all you can do is adjust the frameskip (in video settings). Each video plugin has its own frameskip settings (gles2glide64 will have frameskip options in the next update,...
For most games, gles2glide64 is the most compatible video plug-in, but also the slowest. Gles2rice is faster with the Auto Frameskip setting enabled (see the video settings), but the video freezes...
