"Ouya doesn't really make sense as a streaming service, either. Sure, through side-loading you're given access to a collection of video services, but the low quality or stuttering playback makes it...
Any noticeable improvement to date?
There is a question though that ouya is an xbmc (an open system) sponsor.
If ouya are so closed that they can't implement firmware to make xbmc work and so closed that they do nor give any...
Some reports indicate the stuttering is only seen with relatively fast internet connections. This may be why the problem is less apparent on wireless?
Actually if u r rooted id like to hear if this potential fix works for you

Correction. The ouya system reports 25th August but xbmc itself says compiled 11th August so I'm not sure. Even on a reboot.
Sorry.
Yes unfortunately it's today's version ok assuming it's the same problem which it probably is when I switch to wifi the same video works fine. I have only tested vevo but I'm guessing others will...
I still get stuttering (only when wired) in plugins this version but then nothing in the commits indicate different.

I agree this release is much better in terms of stability than the Gotham alphas and all credit to koying for getting it out there especially considering his work on the Gotham nightlies.

I am not rooted but I have only seen the stuttering on wired.
