HBO Go App - Any luck?

Back in the summer, I successfully side-loaded an early version of an HBO Go app that someone had modified to be HDMI-Out capable. The problem with it was that the app was for a touchscreen, and so using the mouse, I either had to get lucky and have the show I was trying to watch show up on their moving screen (for those that don't know HBO GO, they have an odd front page that has the various shows scrolling randomly around), or I had to put the episode I wanted in a Watchlist from another device and run it through the Watchlist. The picture quality was generally fine, but the menu method lacked a little something.

I noticed that over the last few months, HBO has made their app natively HDMI-out capable, so I wanted to try again and see if any side-loadable apps were more friendly for the Ouya interface. I tried the 1mobile one tonight, but wasn't able to get it loaded, and I'm having trouble finding other copies of the HBO Go apk.

Has anyone had any luck getting HBO Go to work on the Ouya? I have XBMC on it as well, if that is someone's solution, but would appreciate any links as to how to set it up on there if that's the case. I'm still crawling the learning curve on Android and XBMC both.

Go ahead and go into your advanced options and go to dev options then you gotta go down to the 3rd option from the bottom called kill apps on exit. You want that disabled (no check mark). Then try.

Thanks, but I don't understand what you mean. I have that disabled, but the problem I'm having is finding an HBO Go apk to install. The one on 1mobile hangs at "Prepare to download" and never downloads. The one I had wasn't really effective for the controller. I'm just curious if anyone has found an apk that will work, and if so where I can find it.
