The Kickstarter was set to end around the winter holidays when people are already short on cash due to buying gifts, and it also had to compete with several other unusually compelling videogame Kickstarters. And the Nintendo fanboy scene decided to be snotty instead of supportive. That's really all there is to it.

Hmm, I had forgotten the time-span of which the Kickstarter was active. Yep, that sure would do the trick. A simple rinse & repeat revival in a better part of the year outta do the trick.

I have a feeling this is wrong because the rules read differently but I was told today that you have until August 10th if it's a FTG entry. It has to be POSTED by then, yet the rules say ended by then. But either way if it's going back into FTG, then he doesn't have that much time. Waiting for double confirmation on that end date.

Politics and everything else aside - I really hope the game makes it this time! It looks fantastic :)

They've covered half Europe with their characters, they better add an Italian one (a stallion? lol) this time.

Seriously, the Cavallino Rampante (prancing horse) is the symbol of a well known Italian car manufacturer... :D

Hey all, I've almost finished the work I've been doing with my mini projects, and I'm hoping to put all of my spare time through June into putting on another coat of turtle wax, to be all set to revive SuperWorldKarts in July!

There'll be a 2-4 player local Battle Mode, and OUYA is very much the main focus of the game! I've got it running on my OUYA right now, which is my current test platform of choice for it :)

Very few people use OUYA as a test platform of choice, they tend to use PC first, then anything else after. I also have OUYA as my test platform of choice, so whenever I compile, it goes straight to the box, and doesn't even get looked at on my PC :D

Nice :) I compile from a laptop, into a Dropbox folder, which I can access on PC/GalaxyTab/OUYA - We're just addicted to OUYA right now, it has taken over our lounge room!
