Nope. 14 will be the last version supported by OUYA, unless they update their underlying android to api 17 (4.2) at least.
SPMC last version installed but doesnīt when i start ouya and itīs imposible to open in the ouya browser. And the last time i can not see bluray films because the buffer get full and itīs imposible to see more than one minute of the film withouse pause.
I installed SPMC or Kodi from USB hard disk the install finish right but is imposible to open in navigator in discover app not appair as sideload and it can not put to star with autopilot because when i start ouya doesnīt with SPMC or Kodi
Itīs necesary made this to open SPMC
How to specify the location of SPMC data?
SPMC supports a backdoor to specify the location of your SPMC/XBMC data.
To do so, create a file name xbmc_env.properties in the root of your external storage (normally, "/sdcard"). Its content is simply:
xbmc.data=<path to the xbmc data root>
e.g. xbmc.data=/storage/sdcard0/external_sdcard/xbmc_data
Inside this, a directory ".xbmc" will be created which contain the well-known xbmc structure ("addons", "userdata", ...).
Currently, the specified path must be an android one, i.e. no "smb://" or "nfs://", but you can specify any directory mounted on the android FS, including samba or NFS ones.
I just updated to the latest SPMC after being on 13 (I don't recall the specific update), which wiped my settings. Expected that, and tried to add my videos again. Nada. I tried manually entering my NAS (Netgear ReadyNas 104) drive as both an nfs (even though I know the latest update to the drive seems to have made a mess of it), and smb (which worked originally), and SPMC keeps telling me it can't find the drive. When I tried adding the drive with the name, instead of the IP, it told me it couldn't find the MAC address. However, if I go back to Kodi, everything is is still watchable, so the drive is obviously on and working and connected....but SPMC now doesn't want to see it. Very weird. I'll probably try going back down to the last version of 13 and see if that fixes it, but I thought it was an odd quirk that should be mentioned.
can I delete all init and all boot files from ouya?
Do not delete your init or boot files.... what are you trying to do?
Depending on what you're doing with your Ouya it could be making new copies everytime you boot for some reason. Deleting your init.d scripts /shouldn't/ mess anything up but I don't suggest deleting them as they do all the kernal tweaking and it will go back to stock. Make a new folder called init old and put all the files here. That should put your system to stock and then next time you start up a new init file will be created in it's place. They shouldn't be interfering with anything but give it a try.
