Starbound (Chucklefish)

I think we're both thinking of when OUYA ran the competition in January, where whoever got their fans to tweet the most "give @studio_so_and_so an OUYA!" or something similar, would get a devkit. So yes, they might not be required to make an OUYA version, but if OUYA gave it in good faith, it's a bit of a poor showing to turn round and say they never had any intention of making an OUYA version.

Like I say, I suspect they did once plan an OUYA version and just got sidetracked. Which as an indie dev myself, I can totally sympathise with. But it still sucks for us OUYA fans :(

Kommt Zeit, kommt Rat (german idiom that translates to: Come time, come counsel). I'm actually quite positive Chucklefish might put it on their agenda again. As I've bought the game for PC now, I've been browsing their forums a bit, and demand for the game on the existing platforms is absolutely over the top! People tumble over each other to get to say how much they want it. I'd cross anything else from my list apart from pleasing these critters, too. Don't feed after midnight...

Once they are out of the beta, have a stable release out on the platforms they plan for, have taken a few deep breaths, they'll probably take a holiday.
After that, they might port the game some more.

Then again, I'm an optimistic kinda guy.

Anyone else playing the beta release of this on steam?.....

It's amazing! The controls are a little frustrating and they're still tweaking with it but so far it's incredible. Starbound is already one of my favorite games of all time and I really hope this makes it to the Ouya.
