Did not see a thread for this game so I'm starting one... This game is trippy. Seriously trippy!

I recorded a commentary while making a video on this, but it picked up too much of the music for me to use. Here are some choice quotes from it.
"This is a strange game."
"That seems vaguely obscene."
This is like Flower...but not like it."
"Why does this look like a colonoscopy?"
"I have no idea if I've even done well."
"THAT WAS FAST!? How offensive!"
"I'm not sure what's going on here!"
"The music is like the Woman Called Fujiko Mine. I rather like that."
"Well, that's not good - STORM CLOUDS!"
"This is a very confusing game - I clearly have no idea what I'm doing."
I actually really enjoy this game, at first thought "okay.." but got into it more and more, it is very addicting and quite a thrill. The Music does help with the colors..it is all well done
From the trailer it looks like a good game to play with on drugs.. but ill give it a shot later anyway..
You really don't understand this game until you try it.
Simply put the game essentially is just touching as much stuff as possible (but not TOO fast) before a timer runs out.
However, the visuals and the erotic feel of this bright beautiful game with awesome music made it a must buy after trying 3 levels (pretty generous demo, bought before it forced me to). I was very skeptical based on videos and screenshots but trust me, buy this at the launch sale price of $2.99
This game's rather like a metaphor for pleasing a woman. I feel perverted playing it.
Despite knowing what to do in this game, I cannot find its purpose. Maybe the metaphor is the purpose? I cannot be sure??
Either way, it'll be consigned to the pointless & artsy games section of my mind and never played again.
To me this a super erotic game. While I gave flack to "Those Darn Nipples!" for their amateurish humor approach to game design I really like Luxuria Supurbia. It's not explicit, there is an option to turn all the dialogue off and if all else fails its "a game about flowers and happiness, not sex!"
I'm with you Saracen that I did not see a real purpose, I just loved the combination of beautiful art, experimental music, and something different game design wise for a console. Had to support it.
Pleasuring someone is perverted to you? :)
I would say the reason for you not finding any purpose is evident in the last sentence. You think artsy games are pointless (at least some, if we are to understand you correctly) and therefore don't find purpose in this artsy game. This is okay, I might add. I have started to like artsy games more and more during these last years so I love Luxuria Superbia - but I wouldn't dream of saying something rude like "you just don't understand it, go back to cod" or stuff like that. I have seen people behave that way and it makes me laugh. They are so full of themselves. Artsy elite rubbish mentality. So - back to my point. I understand how you feel, but at the same time I like the game. I'm a double-edged sword! ;)
