That Orange Guy - Touche Apps

Hey everyone!

We're very happy to release our game today! It's a shooting-platformer inspired by games like Mega Man. This is actually a remake of the same game released on Xbox Live Indie Games 3 years ago. Almost all the graphics/sound have been replaced (better quality this time around) and new mechanics have been introduced. Lots of changes were made based on feedback. :) The game's difficulty has been scaled down a lot. It was a little unforgiving before.

I played this yesterday ,and i got some feedback for you....I enjoyed the game ,but there are somethings that make it feel lacking to me.

1. I noticed if you hold the jump he auto-bounces ,but this also occurs sometimes even if you press the button once

2. I don't know if maybe deeper into the game enemies become much more aggressive ,but it felt like every baddie was a practicing pacifist as i wasn't getting attacked by anything. The stationary missile launchers wouldn't even shoot until i had past them.

This created a real of challenge for me which led me to get bored real quick.

I believe thats all i really remember that stands out to me as issues for me.

While holding the jump button the player does automatically keep jumping. Although unusual, it was something I liked so I left it in. I understand that games don't typically do this, maybe I'll fix that in an update.

As for the difficulty, the game does get harder as you go. Some of the earlier feedback was that the game was too difficult early on, so I scaled it down. Did not want players getting too frustrated to continue. I guess I have some adjusting to do!

Maybe instead of completely taking one thing out ,or completely changing something why not give the option. As with the jump button control give the option of having that "auto-bounce" ,or not. Then as far as the difficultly maybe if there is a way to have different difficulty settings. Just some thoughts...i dunno if they're feasible i went to school for graphic design not programming LOL.

I started playing this game and have really enjoyed it. I bought it.
