Keyboard support, and limited mouse support. Access in game console by pressing "~" on keyboard. Change username by using touchpad and tapping on user name field.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PC SERVERS: We have no control over how individuals run servers, therefor you may find an occasional menu that must be accessed with the trackpad cursor on your controller.

Plays rather well. But in comparison to the PC version, damn do I suck with a gamepad.

Equal footing and all that now. You all may actually stand a chance lol

Tips:

The default is 3rd person to match the PC version, most people prefer 1st person and you can change it to this in the settings menu.

Like inverted controls? Also in the settings menu.

Want a better framerate? You can change graphic options in the settings menu, including displaying the framerate counter.

Want some MODS? Switch to PC servers under multiplayer, and play a game with a mod you like. It is automatically downloaded to your Ouya. You can then set up your own server using the mod.

You can play over LAN with your PC buddies and other Ouya players.

This game has tons of options; if you could do it in Quake III, most likely you can do it here.

Pushing in the left analog stick lets you duck, while pushing in the right analog stick lets you zoom. Snipers rejoice!

I'll post some more tips later, and I'm looking forward to seeing what other tips you guys come up with.

Had to delete Pocket RPG and a few other demos I had downloaded but going to give this a shot!

Its decent, it definitely has some issues.

Can't assign button map (don't know why this was removed).

Black screen when chatting.

After you type your chat message and press enter the game retypes the message for you. (I do not understand why is does this), during this time you can not move.

when it retypes the message it doesn't type the first T in any message (if you type "to whom it may concern", it will type it out "o whom it may concern", you actually have to type it like this "tto whom it may concern" so that it types out correctly.

Some options are missing (like auto zoom with rail gun). Its enabled by default and no way to disable it.

I was really hoping that the framerate could have been improved over the non ouya version, but just like in the non ouya version you have to turn everything low just to get acceptable performance on some maps.

The button mappings were removed per Ouya guidelines. Anything that resembled a keyboard command had to go, this why the options are trimmed down.
The chat system had to be changed so that players could change their name without using the trackpad. Originally you had to mouse over the option and tap the pad. This doesn't follow Ouya's guidelines of not using the trackpad in the user interface, so we had to completely change the way text was handled. We added the black screen for text input so that things were more uniform than just having text float in the middle of the screen. We will continue to work on text input, it was the hardest thing to handle with the entire port.

I'll check on the autozoom option and try to get that restored into the settings.

The framerate is a tough one, since we can't alter the maps.

We aren't done with this max, rest assured we will keep on truckin' with some updates.

It goes by a server browser, there's no friends lists or anything.

Yeah was fun playing with madmax, reminded me of when Crest of War came out!
Framerate is definitely an issue, at the beginning of the match it wasnt so bad but by the time more people joined and rockets were flying everywhere, I couldn't even aim. I was pretty much just shooting blindly in front of me in the general direction of a player.

This was with my settings on "medium" -- guess its time to try again on low.

Well, I'm screwed again. Every stick configuration was added except swapping them. You know, not to be rude, but there are southpaw players out there still. I guess we are a really small number now, but it's still annoying that everyone just assumes that everyone likes the sticks set up that way now, especially when Southpaw was the standard for so many years on control pad. Yet ANOTHER Ouya title I get to miss out on because nobody seems to listen. Sorry to sound Prickish, but it's obvious that the majority of developers just don't care because there are so few of us. I leave message after message and never hear back from the developers and just get told to get used to it. I got a better one, hold your control pad upside down and play your games. You'll get used to it. Thanx' anyway.
