I have a few suggestions, I'll list 'em below:
Facebook Style Chat System - Put a chat bar at the bottom of screen, allowing for private one-on-one chat, as well as group convos. More on that add-on here
Raffle System - To be used for Game Of The Week, Giveaways, etc. : here
Double Post Merger - This is pretty self explanatory, will made moderator's jobs MUCH easier - here
vB Experience - Sort of a social achievement for vBulletin, read about it here
Convert to IP.Board - In my opinion (and many others as well), IP.Board is a highly superior forum software to vBulletin, this is more of an idea than a suggestion, but conversion is supposedly very easy, and IPB offers a lot of cool features, more on conversion here
Twitter/LinkedIn Integration - read more here
Welp, that's all I got .. for now :untroubled:
Already tried this. The majority of the users here didn't like it and we reverted back to the old chat.Quote:

Seems interesting, but I don't know if we have enough promo material to do many giveaways yet. How would you suggest using it for Game of the Week?Quote:
I'll look into adding this.Quote:
Not a huge fan of this. What is your reasoning for using this? I've used it on other forums.Quote:
I have run over a dozen forums in my life, and have had some that are VBulletin, some IPB, and other PHPBB. I personally like Vbulletin the best, and feel it is easier to upgrade/add addons, etc. Perhaps I am most used to it. However, I won't be changing the forum software for this site.Quote:

Definitely sounds interesting. I'll be looking into this.Quote:
Thanks for your suggestions :)
I won't give suggestions for now, but I'll comment on previous ones to help make their decisions come easier to you.
I was I guess you could call "The Leader" for a new chatbox back in the day. It didn't work out due to it not refreshing and being generally troublesome.
Anybody who approves of this suggestion will have a shot at being the father of my kids. This "needs" to be implemented. I'm sick of merging all the posts all the time.Quote:
This would cause massive amounts of competition. People would post just to post and not actually mean what they say, or contribute to the conversation. I've been on forums which had a simliar feature implemented after several months of aging and they always made the place uninhabitable.Quote:
Going to have to go with Eddie on this one.Quote:

I wouldn't use it, but it might be useful for those who actually have accounts to these two websites.Quote:
I don't know if this counts as an add on or just a minor modification in the source code, but I would really like anchor/goto to work. You know, so you can create a link that sends the clicker to another place in the same post.
Double post merger. Yes yes and yes some more
I think IPB is better too but they're comparable. Doesn't really matter.
Thumbs down on anything Facebook and also VB Experience.
Although it's not a plugin, I'd like to point out that a new (alternative) theme would be so nice... I have the impression I'm the minority on this, but I thought I'd try anyway.
I remember you bringing that up. I'm kind of "meh" on the whole theme thing. So long as it functions I don't really care how it looks, baring any garish eye destroying colors.
Yup, that was me :) Still hoping for it. Then again, I pride myself in being a democrat, so if after this nobody wants it, I'll shut up.
