100 Rogues - Fusion Reactions & Dinofarm Games

Very fun game. DL'ed the demo tonight and bought the full game about three lessons into the demo, and proceeded to have a hell of a time getting my ass whipped over the next five floored worth of dudes versus my templar like guy (what is he again? whoever, watching God smote the bad guys is awesome, love that). Great balance, hard but fair. Seemed too easy until I ran into to genie. The stuff that should work does- guy that constantly teleports stops once you throw a net over him (just like you expect in great rogue-like).

Great game. Well worth $5.

This was more or less an instant buy for me. I'm a fan of roguelikes (though not an old-school fan...was turned on to them a few years ago by the older version of Desktop Dungeons). I'm not exactly tearing it up just yet (best score so far is 1,232 with the Crusader on normal), but that's kind of the point with this genre really. It's great to see something like this on Ouya.

I bought it straight away.
I can understand the reasoning behind the changes but I'd still like more random dungeon generation with a map, had a better dungeon crawler feeling...

is it possible to decrease the "pauses" between the moves like in Cardinal Quest which plays much more fluid? The movement is a bit to slow for my attention... ;)

Are you using fast play mode? You can toggle off most of the game's animations and speed gameplay up by a huge amount.

oh thanks. much better this way. still it would be nice to find a faster way WITH animation.

Great game. Text just seems a bit too small for me though. Otherwise I love modern roguelikes like this and this looks to be a very good one. Controls took some getting used to but overall works well with Ouya controller.

Yeah the controls can be a pain but you get used to it. Every now and then I still try and hitting R1 to cast spells, for some reason Y feels like an odd place for the spells tab.

Oh well, great game overall. Hoping they bring some of the features the other versions have (playing as monsters, etc).

Does anyone have this error

Whenever I quit ANY ouya app I will get a pop up (the ouya os message type) that says this, even if I wasn't playing 100 rogues

Unfortunately, 100 Rogues has stopped.

Played this for the first time last night, I got put off by it as heard there was a game were you had pay to play it, can't remember what It was, but it wasn't yours lol.

Anyway bought it straight away when I got to that stupid genie. Awesome game!
