The game is completely free.
Any actual gameplay videos?
What was your inspiration?
Will there be further updates?
What is the price?
Theres numerous other questions I could ask. The game looks fun but your post had little to no effort.
Looks... good! :distrust:
Heh, yea sorry for the lack of effort, I wasn't sure how active these forums were let alone how much attention my game would get here so it was hard to really put forth too much effort into the post.
As for your questions.
I think I do have a low quality video of the first boss fight. It was made as kind of a how to guide to beating it.
It's ultra low quality and had no sound.
I had several inspirations for this game. But mostly, I played a D&D campaign one time and made a gnome sorcerer named Tim-Tim in it. The idea behind the character was that he was kind of a pale hairless gnome that didn't talk much. And because he was the most physically weak character ever, he basically used magic to do everything. So the idea for the game was to make it so you need magic to actually kill anything. No head jumping in this game.
Later, someone pointed out that he looked like a character from the Bone comics, which wasn't my intention but it's possible that I subconsciously was inspired by that while drawing up the character.
I do plan to update the game as problems are found, (in fact I'll be updating the game soon as a problem with overscanning was found) but for the most part the game is complete as is. I have some rough plans for a squeal that would be a much more complex game, but nothing is concrete right now.
Lastly, stated in the game's description on ouya, the game is completely free. I edited my first post here to reflect that as well.
@ WilliamSpidey77: thanks :D
Thanks for the response :)
Definitely makes me feel more comfortable downloading the game when there is input from the developer. If you haven't followed the community much one of our shared problems is the OUYA's limited harddrive space so I know personally I've had to be more picky choosing games to download. This creates the problem of there being competition even when the games are free.
The forums aren't super crazy active but active enough that I check in every couple hours.
Welcome!
I checked it out earlier today. Didn't have the time to get too deep into it, but what I did see was pretty cool. Good stuff.
@Dan and raven: Thanks :D
Very cool little game. Thank you and can't wait for a sequel!
@agoe1179: Thanks for playing :D
I really enjoyed this game, the only thing i found was it was a little oversensitive, i felt a little to fast and then id go to turn around and fall off the same ledge again and again.
Other then that its a great little game, well done mate.
