As the title says, anychance of a mod creating a sticky emulator thread to keep the ever increasing new threads in one place?
For what reason would we do that? All the threads we get on emulators is nothing but "help me" threads so combining them would serve no purpose. Also, such a thing should probably be integrated into the FAQ thread in a section labelled "Emulators" or something.
As mentioned above to keep all the threads in one place and to cut down on new threads on the same machine being posted.
Emulators are of the same basic function to emulate another machine on another, and as such deserve a separate thread as each 'app' is related in some way, most if not all open source forums have them, I don't see the problem creating one here...
They aren't all 'help me' threads, but even if some are it helps others getting help in said emulator or saves wading through pages to find a previous thread.
emulators are apps just like every other app. Giving them special treatment wouldn't exactly be fair. Besides, there are a ton of different emulators available. putting them all in one thread would make things harder to find, imo.
are you suggesting a thread or a section? I am confused? making everything one thread would completely defeat the purpose of a forum. In fact, it would not longer BE a forum.
