My first Ouya release, "Ascent of Kings", is now available for download.

Ascent of Kings is an adventure platformer with metroid-style upgrades and backtracking.

Oh hey I bought this game on XBLIG. I loved it, but it was too short! It was plenty long for a dollar though so I'm glad to see it here.

I'll be buying this next time I turn on my Ouya. Too short doesn't mean jack for a dollar and the game looks good.

Anything with a retro dithered sky/land has got to be good!

Downloaded and played through the demo of this last night.

I couldn't put the controller down while playing the demo - so when the buy it option came up, and I saw it was just $0.99, I bought it immediately.

Carried on for about another hour - and although I think it's probably going to be a bit short, It is huge value for money. I know that both my kids will play through this after I'm done.

Hope to see many more like this on the OUYA - and from this developer.

The same for me. I think I have three of four more shrines to go to fully complete the game.

Edit: Also I like the credits "screen". :)

I agree with the others. I bought it as soon as the trial ended and I had very fun exploring!

Just finished getting all the alters. I was running around looking for one more and then I was duh, I bet I know where it is and I was correct. ;)
