Wayward Souls works with full controller support! For the OUYA controller you have to use the trackpad with the curser over the pause button to access the menu. Cool game.

The awesome Mario Kart like racing game Beach Buggy Racing works fine with full controller support.
You'll have to sideload it from Google Play and if it fails to load game's data at first launch, just move the .obb file from internal to USB memory or vice versa.

I can confirm Bike Rivals to be partially working and fun! (Menus need touchpad, game itself works flawlessly with the controller alone).
Muffin Knight works fully with a controller from Amazon App Store, no touch input needed at all. The only downside to it is that it doesn't highlight whatever you are hovering over in the menu screen, so it is hard to know where you are at in the menu.

I need to grab the apk from a Tegra device or what I've done wrong?
Hey guys. Just thought I'd share my findings so that everyone else can have as good of a Ouya experience as possible. This is a great little machine with loads of promise that is unfortunately under utilized. Here is my list of games and apps that I have sideloaded with no modifications made to the system other than installing the "root my ouya" app which is an easy one click process:
Currently on my system (includes newer versions of apps also available on ouya store):
Adobe Reader
Amazon App Store (highly recommended)
Astro File Manager (useful as you can backup your installed apps to apks and it is an excellent file manager)
CpuZ
Crackle
Mobdro (free live tv streaming)
Dropbox
Easy Uninstaller
Moga Pivot (software for configuring moga bluetooth controllers to work with ouya)
MX Player (media player)
