It's not the media (which there has been very little of as late, the majority was at the beginning) or a late push. The sentiment on the project turned very negative with a lot of people backing out of it. However, to counter that every time, there has been big plonks of cash laid down. You can see that in the graph here: http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/162...h/#chart-daily .
Look at the backer exodus from the 8th of March until the 25th. Look at the pledge amounts in that time. Someone(s) has gone $7K , $7K, $20 , $10K. Big plonks of cash to prop it up against the exodus

So you're saying they're as shiesty as Gridiron Thunder and don't really need the cash.

Unless you guys seen it, but its new to me. I just noticed they have a website and it looks like there taking pre-orders. The website redirects to there kickstarter.

At this moment there over the goal. It seems like anything can change with these kickstarters.I'm really new to it so I dont know what to expect but in the last fewdays its only gone up.Hopefully it continues at the pace. Watch everybody backout the last day and it drop down $50,000. I'm not sure if once a goal is reached if pledgers back out if it still counts or not. I'd imagine it wouldnt. The clocks ticiking. I still got 5 days to decide what I want to do.

Can't go under before it ends. If it ends and then they all back out, that's another story.
-
Well, they added a $250K stretch goal of upgrading the hardware, unfortunately I'm not all that familiar with the SOC they chose...
-
Yeah, and in some of the comments back they mentioned that if they had reached 300k they would upgrade em to k1.
I dont think they'll reach that in the 4 days left or whatever, or even think they'll reach the 250k. Would be nice though.
At least there still communicating back and forth with people on the comments from time to time which is good.
-
It's not like it hasn't happened before... not that I think it is here.
-
True dat, true. The goal could skyrocket on the last day or something. I hope it does so everyone who pledges can make out.
They still have 4 of them $10,000 pledges left so that will bring them to around $242,000. Just have to wait and see I guess.

"the problem is the controller"...uhh, no. That's the opposite of the problem. Sure, there are a couple of games that benefit from touch controls - solitaire springs to mind - but touch control for games mostly sucks, no matter what screen I'm looking at.
Interest level: zrro.
Guess I'll go back to playing that silly box that only got like 50 games.
Oh, wait..I don't have an XBox One.

lol.. I do agree they didnt have to take that wack shot at Ouya (how dare them) but I still like what they have to offer. I havent dived into it yet. Still undecided. I do have to agree touchscreen sucks on games, and beta testing bluetooth controllers where you can map the controls to the touch, has made me not like touchscreen even more, but for some reason I like this
thing and possibly might still dive into it. Thats not a detering factor to get Ouya 2 or Shield for me at all. I just want something a little different to play with and that controller is that "Little Different" something. Everybody has there own opinions and reasons. If I would known of kickstarter when Ouya was out ( I found out about it way later) I would have pledged for Ouya kickstarter no doubt.
