wow...11€ for the controller is really good. unfortunately the shippment price is quiet high.
Also, pressing any language button in the top left corner brings you simply on a blank page. My German is limited; I could still guess the process to buy a controller, but that doesn't apply to anyone. Plus, the issue with the controllers is always the same: are they new enough? Probably the same retail ones I have (ridged thumbsticks + firmware 0x0104) but how can one be sure?
i bet they are on old firmware. they just dont sell over here as only very few people own an ouya, so they try to get their warehouse cleared. ;)
I bought my Ouya controller last week from this shop. How can i see if it is the old or new firmware?
go to the controllers pairing menu and press Y (bluetooth settings), then with the touchpad, click on the settings icon on the right of the screen , near to "OUYA Game Controller". It will open a menu showing firmware version of the Ouya gamepad and its current battery level.
The new Controller has the firmware 0x0104
Is this the old or the new firmware?
Thank you.
Well, this is good news indeed! If one can go past the German language, is a great occasion to get those extra controllers you needed! :)
One last thing, are the thumbsticks flat or do they have a ridge? Just out of curiosity.
