Hi Ouyans!
I think its time to get a closer contact with the gamers and the devs! Well my idea is using this app: Zello (works on PC, IOS, ANDROID... and something more...)
Well this app can we do voice chat (like a walkie talkie).
Well this is only a sugestion!
This idea can be awesome if the feature of voice chating with devs is integrated into the Ouya System as a firmware update.Quote:

There's really no need for a voice chat of any kind to be installed as members can set up appointments with each other without having OUYAForum Staff doing unnecessary work.
I understand your opinion but with voice chat, devs can help the new devs making games a lot more easy!
I think the voice chat channel group can be only for ouyaforum members.... (zello can do this)

I understand that OUYAForum is a beacon for developers but again, there's nothing stopping you guys from talking to each other right now. The website doesn't need any alterations or additions to it to add a feature that's already widely available to everybody which is called the internet. Even if it was necessary,Eddie K isn't even here to install add-ons so this is a no-go.Quote:

However, given the extra things it would take to moderate such a thing (because I think they would want to, given that it's part of a moderated site), I think making it actually belonging to or as part of the forum would only be doable if the staff is willing to do it. The same goes for the chatbox. It's something they were willing to do. It is arguably much easier to keep an eye on (right on the site, no headphones needed, etc.), but all the same.
Someone else setting one up and the staff letting the link be around somewhere, even just having a thread dedicated to it, would be a nice in-between. Then see what happens from there. Who knows, maybe it'll turn out all awesome and convince the staff to change their mind.
OUYAForum Staff will not be moderating such a thing on top of everything else and hiring new Voice Chat specific Staff just for that seems erroneous given how haphazardly transient a voice chat feature is. If you must talk with other members then I suggest you go with my previous idea by setting appointments with people via a thread here. What you use to communicate is whatever you guys figure out for yourselves.Quote:

- Problems bleeding out onto the forum or chatbox from the Voice Chat will be handled with a heavy hand by OUYAForum Staff. We're not here for troublesome people who have petty differences with each other to gripe at each other in more ways than one.
