Silent Star: Blast - Rotary Gaming

Ok, so - amazingly - today my first game dev got approved for the OUYA console. I've hit that little old publish button and it should be available on your OUYA's now.

Silent Star: Blast is a simple, addictive game - that has an increasing difficulty and 8 different ships to choose from. The aim of the game is to destroy as many Asteroids as possible, picking up power ups to increase your fire rate on the way to a high score. Each ship plays quite differently, so the UFO may be more suited a 'twitch' style game, where the slower ships fire larger, more powerful lasers which suit a more strategic game approach.

Grim will be hard to beat. After all, he's probably played it the most...

I'm not sure I think the O button should be used to restart, especially without a confirmation dialog.

Hi trizznilaa,

I'd put this in for the gamers who get addicted and like to hit restart as quick as possible after dying, the ones trying desperately to beat their high score. Given that O doesn't do anything else (no firing, etc) I presumed most players wouldn't be mashing it until after seeing the "Play Again/High Score" screen a couple of times anyway.

A lot of old school games used to do this - it seemed fitting. :)

This took me by surprise! Very fun game. I was upset at first with the auto fire but it adds so much fun to this game! This one is a winner for me - 5 Stars :D
