Not to be a butt-hurt, but there's better ways to go about it than that. Just be consistent and inform both parties as they're equally as important. Bah, I can already tell this is gonna be a long day.

I agree. Or at least let consumers know an update is coming and not be so tech talky. I posted it because if I didn't, someone else was going to.

Yeah I see no reason why they just don't post the blog a couple days earlier. Users would like to know these things and have an idea when to expect them.

I have to admit, a lot of this is more important to consumers than devs (XBMC, DL management etc) so to break the news in the dev newsletter is again not ideal seeing as this was obviously going to be revealed on here anyway. Nit-picky of me to point it out, maybe but it helps to have good relations with your whole audience rather than just a part of it.

You know what I mean. People were going to find out before they announce to consumers if they sent the info to devs first, here or elsewhere.

good news for XBMC nice, and funny i was going to suggest purchased-games list like xbox has

Edit something told me the update for xbmc would not fix anything did the official update happen yet because I just updated the Xbmc and nothing and in the other thread people saying it stopped streaming add-ons from working wow

I like the name of the update.
