ok so im really enjoying this game so far it feels like a poor man's lost planet mixed with starship troopers which is an awesome combo.
gameplay is smooth and the controls are superb. and the shooting feels great.
graphics are some of the best on OUYA imo and it runs with a good framerate.
totally worth the 4.99$ price. and im sure this well be in the top ten on the o-rank in no time.
Can someone tell me what size is this game ? I want to know if it's safe to initiate the download while I'm on my way back home.

I was expecting some general slowdowns because of the graphics, but I was surprised that it ran smoothly.
We did or best to optimize the game as mush as possible. In the same way as playstation 3 games ( well most of them) we downscaled the resolution to 1280*720 in order to match the limited fill rate of the console.Quote:

Well people don't really know how to get the most out of a system it seems. It's hardware, just have to push it to its limits without breaking the engine. And everything in here is really optimized as much as possible without losing too much quality. We really had hard time figuring out how to make it runs smoothly in some missions (#9 especially). But I think we found a good balance... transparency over the whole screen is definitely a frame rate killer, avoid it like the black plague.Quote:

I like this game. The text is way too small, however. Also, L1 flashes on the screen near climbable vines, but you must press O to climb them. Finally, there is no way to back out of the menu, so you have to tap down 4 times then press O, when it would be so much nicer to just press A.
Just some constructive criticism. I like the character designs, and the game overall runs very smoothly.
your feedback and others as well is highly appreciated:) no worries. the blinking L1 is a hint to help player know where he would need to go. In some QA people didn't understand that they could climb vines. and yes you have to jump on them in order to climb. This is part of the design and might not change. As for the A button to go back I assume we'll put that in a future update. Right now we're gathering as much feedback as possible to help adding the last polishing touches.Quote:

yeah, good question, those bonuses are here in order to make player's life easier. Lets say if you do without you're playing in normal mode and if you buy everything you're in super easy mode. we just want the players who are OK to spend more and feel super strong to be able to. Also you can spend time re-doing missions or playing in arena mode to earn some credits that you can spend on upgrading your characters' stats. Hope it's clear for you now. :)

Well, I think the way the mobile apps are doing it. making the game impossible to finish unless you purchase is a bad thing for player. It's something I definitely wanted to avoid with STELLAR GHOSTS. For us it's mostly a bonus if people decide to get them.Quote:

Unfortunately, the game does not work with a PS3 pad/USB keyboard setup, so I cannot give any feedback on how it plays. Not even the main menu works, sniff...
Nice game! Enjoyed last night for about a half hour, controls well and graphics are nice. Will likely purchase and provide better feedback
It didn't work for me o.O I tried to download to external and it failed. Then I installed to internal and it opened but crashed back to launcher.
