Since folk seem to keep asking me the same sort of things over and over again, and I appear to enjoy replying to things in a rambling waffling manner (thus filling the Shoutbox up with utter garbage!) I thought it'd be handy to start a thread for all of this gubbins.
Ask away, and expect a reply should I have the time, and find your question interesting.
What did you use to program your DS games? Were any released on cartridge?
My DS games are strictly Homebrew-Only. I havent ever released a "proper" game on a "proper" system.. Well, not until iOS came along, anyway, and it seems the world of "professionalism" doesn't care about mobile devs.
I'd love to be considered to be a proper DS/3DS developer, but it takes time, effort, and most importantly, proper funding to get started in that direction.
My DS Homebrew games are coded using a combination of DevkitPro and PALib, and still seem to work reasonably well on current Homebrew devices, should you have one that still works. (I've kept my old DSLite and Flashcart combo specifically for the purpose of running my own games!)

I never knew you made homebrew stuff. That's pretty cool. Have you ever put a game up for sale? do you have any plans for the future, like where you'd like to be with your games?
A lot of my iOS games have price-tags attached, and a couple of my Android ones, too, but in general I'm just happy that folk get to enjoy my games.
.. Sure, it'd be nice to make a bit of cash from it, but when my games typically only get played by a few hundred people at the most, it seems a little unreasonable to keep asking those same folk to pay over and over!! ...I'm my own wallet's worst enemy!!
Might be a different "few hundred people".
Nothing wrong with charging $1 or some nominal fee.
So why were you so afraid to be interviewed like the camera was going to take your soul.

I can't comfortably sit and listen to our interview, because it's got that horrible-voiced idiot in it, banging on about his games and things. Bah!!
I can happily read back what I've written, but listening to myself doesn't seem to be something I enjoy.
I know how you feel. I sound very valleys Welsh when I hear recordings of myself. It means I can't take myself seriously so think other people won't either.Quote:
