checking their last KS Project - big disaster - i doubt this console is gonna be a hit...so OUYA neednt to be afraid ;)

I am interested...Looks pretty similar to OUYA...but Two USB, Dual Wifi chips, Optical audio out and whatever that AV port does.

I'm not keen on using my phone as a controller...but PS3 or even OUYA controllers will work.

Now, I'm pretty sure I don't need this...the OUYA does most of this stuff...But as I've learned...not all android is created equal...
...it looks like since you are using your phone/tablet as your touchscreen you can use any ols android application...notably Netflix and HBOgo the two that I miss most on the OUYA.

OUYA is coming out with a new console offering this year...so...buyer beware.

especially their previous disaster with cheap china hardware...and this machine seems to have cheap china chips as well...no thanks.

I think I'll pass. Nothing screams appealing to me from this device. Especially considering that I have a lot of hardware in my house for various tasks already.

not quite.
If they are using the Mali-450 MP8 like I think they are it's about 10 Gflops slower than a tegra 4i & 25glops slower than the T4.

Well, according to this site it is.
Which could be wrong because all my sheets on the subject have been given & I can't be bothered to look for a different source to verify. :)

I remember this device.
I think it is still on the shelf at walmart.
I went with the roku.
Guess I made a good choice.
