Hello all,

I'll get straight to the point.
In my humble opinion, the Ouya needs more 'mainstream' or more polished games on the console. I think many people have said this, but I wish to get more specific to illustrate my point.

I think with more established games on the Ouya, that will attract more Gamers and Game Developers alike.
One good place to start is with Gameloft (http://www.gameloft.com/).

With games such as Modern Combat (http://www.gameloft.com/android-games/modern-combat-3/) 1-4, Gangstar Vegas
(http://www.gameloft.com/android-games/gangstar-vegas/?adid=27351) , Brothers in Arms (http://www.gameloft.com/android-games/brothers-in-arms-2-global-front/?adid=27351) , Nova 3 (http://www.gameloft.com/android-games/nova-3/) , 9mm (http://www.gameloft.com/android-games/9mm-android-hd/?adid=27351) , Tom Clancy games, Racing games, fantasy games....etc.

With Gameloft games available for the Ouya, well that would be the shot in the arm that the Ouya needs. And something that I think would make many gamers happy.

Also to consider is a wide variety of Free2Play MMOFPS available online. It would be a great idea to approach some of these developers of these games to make their games available for the Ouya. Here is a website that list many such games: MMOBOMB.com (http://www.mmobomb.com/games/mmofps)

Anyway, I'm sure the good folks at Ouya are working on getting some Gameloft games, but I just wanted to let my opinion known. And looking into getting more PC games available on Ouya would be awesome as well.

Well, in summary, I love the Ouya, and I'm excited to watch it grow. :)

I completely agree. Although most of the "AAA" games on Android have given Ouya a wide berth, there are some polished games that you can buy or sideload, such as:

1/ A bard's Tale (dodgy controls, though)
2/ Neon Shadow (FPS)
3/ Meltdown (Online co-op 3d isometric shooter with a rudimentary loot system and thumping soundtrack)
4/ Dead Trigger (sideloaded and requires OBB file)
5/ Shadowgun (3rd person "GOW" clone)
6/ Angry Birds: Star Wars (works with mouse, sideloaded)
7/ Repulze (Wipeout clone, sideloaded. Requires mouse for boost in game and for menus)
8/ The Conduit: HD (demo version with 2 levels, sideloaded)
9/ Beach Buggy Blitz (endless runner/kart racing. A bit buggy. requires mouse for menu and sideloaded)
10/ Shine Runner (Sideloaded racer. Needs mouse)
11/ Riptide GP 2 (works perfectly. Sideloaded. Online play needs Google Play framework)
12/ Candy Crush (sideloaded. needs mouse)
13/ Plants Vs Zombies (sideloaded. needs mouse)

There are others but these are pretty good to begin with.

if you are interested ina pps, let me know.

There are some other AAA games such as:

AvP Evolution - AngryMob/Fox Interactive
Choplifter HD - inXile/Square One Games (re-makers of Bard's Tale)
FF3 - Square
The Sonic Games - Sega
The Cave - Sega/Double Fine

I am sure there are others but I can't think of them at the moment..

I would like to see more of these games native.

worth noting that AvP was panned universally by reviews for the android and ios versions and the devs have since given up upkeeping the app. it never has supported the ps3 controller and the devs have never replied orposted comments to users or this forum. I wouldn't reccomend that game at all.

That is too bad.. it is a really good game. It has its challenge, and the mechanics are there. PS3 controller personally isn't a bother for me (don't even have a ps3). And the way the reviews are making it sound make it seem like they played it on a really low end device (example: I have never run into lag of any sorts when playing this.. according to this (http://www.destructoid.com/review-alien-vs-predator-evolution-247581.phtml) review). I think this was a type of game made for a TV too.

Btw, the reviews made: it seems to be a matter of high expectations. Because it is an Alien Vs Predator thing, they expect the highest of quality (yet they haven't received it).

I didn't know they got bad reviews. This has been one of my favorite games. Wonder what they did not like. No lag or bugs yet but I am using the Ouya controller not PS3

I would prefer not to have a glut of free to play games where you need coins/gems/whatever to advance, at least not if games include microtransactions.

I like how Nimble Quest did it, honestly. Much better than most micro-transaction based games.
