I know i'm not the first to do one of these buuuut I did just finish mine and I have been working on it on and off since I got my OUYA in June. Was a little disappointed to find out that i wasn't the only one with the idea but I guess in hindsight it seems obvious. :) Materials are, plastic (for the substructure that holds the OUYA), mahogany, and acid etched brass. Even trough you are defiantely not the first, this is pretty much the most original design I have seen so far! great job man! ;) ;)

I love how you shared every single part of the process from scratch too, If I may ask, what process did you use to transfer the ink to the metal, and what metal it was used?

I basically used the same toner transfer method as the DIY circuit board guys use. Something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQupRXEqOz4 though I used acetate instead of paper and a laminator instead of an iron, but the principle is the same. I just happen to have acetate and a laminator in my office. As to the metal, its just straight brass, I got it off of amazon. Try to get as thin as possible. I don't remember the exact thickness I happen to have, but it was basically paper thin. If its too thick, the etching won't cut all the way through.

Nice! This is how it's supposed to look! I think Ouya should massproduce these instead. :)

If I saw that think, there is no way in heck I'd touch it. I also would not play any puzzle games on it...

Also, this would work perfectly with Ouya's broken controllers, as "It is not the hands that summon them...it is the desire".
