This is not really a mod, it's more of a cover up. I thought it would be nice to have something easily exchangeable for my OUYA. So I made a cage out of "photo pearls" - inspired by Minecraft. I thought maybe this could inspire someone! <3

This is what it looks like from the front:

And on the back there's a hole for the cables and USB stick:

Lol, awesome! Me and my sister used to play with those things constantly and this is definitely a unique take on it.

I actually had three endermen standing next to my TV for a while. They are gone now however, so my OUYA is safe. :)

You got a pumpkin laying around then? Or just really good at not looking?

... or did you kill them for their eyes?

It is just a cover over it - so that I can change it easily if I tire of it.

My girlfriend broke them. ;)

Me and my boys like it a lot, is this something we could pick up at any retail craft store? I was looking at the photo pearls website and couldn't seem to find a US retailer.

Yes, these pearls are available all over the world. There are many different brands, two of the more popular ones being Hama (http://www.hamabeads.com/) and Nabbi (http://www.nabbibeads.com/). They're also for sale on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/sch/items/Crafts__W0QQ_catrefZ1QQ_flnZ1QQ_sacatZ14339QQ_ssnZ callahan13QQ_trksidZp3911Q2ec0Q2em282) a lot.

If you have a picture you would like to pixelate into a fitting size, and don't want to use a program like Photoshop - there is a free program called Perler (http://dolkow.se/perler/index.php) that is tailormade for pearl projects.

Really dumb stupid question but...how do they stick to each other? HOW DOES IT WORK?

Do you mean each individual bead or the cube structure?

Here is a quite good video on both questions (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wsp7YFNuVo8). :)
