I've been asked to post some pics of it for a while now and I have been lazy, sorry about that. Here you go! I can do a deconstruct if need be as it should fit most case fans perfectly. Legos rock. :D

Yes, check out the last pic. The Ouya sits on top and "chills out"...

Bad pun, hehe. ;)

How ru powering the fan?
Id like to build 1 of these instead of a case.
What did the entire build run u?

I was thinking about making a base for mine as well out of legos (instead of a full case) that will hold a USB HUB inside. Seeing this, I might make it a USB HUB AND fan, pretty awesome!

It's powered by the USB port.

The fan was only a couple bucks. The Legos are ancient from back when I was a wee lad, so I'm not sure how to factor in the price of them, haha.

The back part could easily be extended to incorporate a hub. In fact, if I didn't need my little hub for my laptop I'd probably build it into the base!

It's an old, cheap Yaheng case fan that I spliced with a scrap USB cord. If you want to do it yourself, just check for fans that will run on ~5V power and you should be fine.
Here's a link to a fan that I bought to use when I bring my Ouya to work. No Lego base for it but it has speed controls and works amazingly well, if a little loud: http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Mobile-Fan-External-Cooling/dp/B00080G0BK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374126901&sr=8-1&keywords=thermaltake+usb+fan

Baaahahaha! XD

Quick question, when I'm setting up my fan, do i want the air to be going into the OUYA, or sucking out of the OUYA?
This may b a noob question but I've never worked with fans before lol

I've got mine blowing up into the Ouya. It also has the added benefit of cooling the the aluminum case as the vents on the bottom don't accept that much air.

There you go! Now all you need to do is build a fan into your case. :D

My case would literally mount right on top of your base. You got my creativity moving.

That is excellent to hear! Let me know if you need me to measure anything. Like I said, a standard 80x80mm case fan is perfect to fit in with Legos. :D

I think that the fan is not in the right place,it is only cools the outer case, not the heatsink.
Did you take any measurements of the temperature ?

There is a noticeable increase in the airflow out of the top vents when it is on as the base of the OUYA has air slots and yes, it also cools off the case. :D

No I did not, other than by touch.
