I just launched my Kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/825994460/endica-vii-the-dream-king)fundraiser campain the other day for my 4-player cooperative "Metroid-vania" indie game called The Dream King! You can find more details in the link above, but the game will be coming to multiple platforms by the end of the year if we meet our goal! It is heavily inspired by 16-bit classics from the past!

You can also help us get on Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=141215016)by voting us up! Let me know what you think! Don't be too harsh on the visuals because I have very talented artists waiting for me to reach my goal, everything you see here is either done by myself or using bits here and there from public domain. Thanks!

Excellent. I think you'll be making your goal with room to spare! Backed and I'll be following along on here hoping for updates. :D

One question, will the demo for the Ouya just be an APK that we have to sideload? Or will you be putting it onto the Ouya store?

The PC demo is available today, you can find it here:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/825994460/endica-vii-the-dream-king

The rest of the platforms will likely see a demo by the end of the summer, and it will likely be side loaded.

Got my email from KS, I'll try it out when I get a chance. Can't wait to play the Ouya demo though, on a big screen with a controller!

Here's the latest message I recieved via KickStarter:

Project Update #5: A New Playable Demo Coming Soon!

Posted by Nick Ridgway

There will be a new playable demo of Endica VII The Dream King available soon for PC, Android, and Ouya! The old demo was rushed for the kickstarter and has been removed, but the new demo will see major improvements in a lot of different areas! I will let everyone know the release date shortly!

You can also keep track of our game at http://rocksclan.com, which will soon see major updates and a new page specifically devoted to Endica, and also at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Endica-VII-The-Dream-King/263377033709812 for more updates and details! Thank you for following us!

Nick

So, alright! Pretty soon we'll have a demo. :D

Update:

Emails have gone out to backers for their NPC descriptions. This is still happening and it looks good.:D

Whaaaaaaat?

This was pitched and funded way before I came along, so this is the first I've heard of it... but I'll be all over this when it releases.
